Stir up the gift...You will not know the depth and height of your potential until you use some of it. It doesn’t matter if you reach 1 , 1,000 or tens of thousands. Faith moves…Faith does…Faith Is…
Even if you have little faith, Jesus says If you have the faith the size of a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain be thou removed and cast into the sea. Nothing will be impossible for you” (Matthew 17:20). What is your mountain today? Is it fear or doubt ? Psalm 27:1, “The Lord is my light and my salvation whom shall I fear, The Lord is the strength of my life of who shall I be afraid?” It is it unbelief? Ask God to help your unbelief (Mark 9:24). Is it other people’s opinions, perceptions, or negative words? Isaiah 54:17, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue that rises up against you shall be condemned.” Is it that you do not believe in yourself, you doubt your skills and abilities? You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you and God has equipped you to finish the work (Philippians 4:13). Yes He is faithful to complete the work He started in you but that is it…He starts, but you have to participate in the you He started. (Philippians 1:6) You must walk by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). You have to co-labor with God and the Holy Spirit. You must trust the Words of Jesus. You must trust that If God be for you who can be against you (Romans 8:31).
James 2:17, “Faith without works is dead”. So yes that means we have a part to play. God made us promises and plans, but He also gives instructions on how to execute His plans. So the other side of faith is then obedience. Because we must follow instructions for what we are believing for. If you don’t use the potential that you have tapped into , you will never know the value or wealth of striking oil in your life.
Everyone that is a follower of Jesus Christ wants to hear well done. We want to live this life fulfilling our purpose and destiny. We were created to fulfill the plan of God really and it takes faith to do it. It takes faith to please God. Without faith it is impossible to please Him. Scripture tell us that. So we pray Father help our unbelief. We desire to please you with our faith. Take my little and make it much. You are the multiplier. You are the Author of my story. I submit to every chapter you have predestined from this day forward. Help me to walk out what you have already written. Let the Words you have spoken over me become alive in me. Your Word is true. Your Word supersedes any false word spoken over me or that I have spoken about myself.
I leave you with this...The world is waiting to see or hear your story, your journey, your adventure with God. You have something valuable to say. You have something special to give. Stir up the gift (2 Timothy 1:6) There's many ways to express and share it. The treasure chest of gifts and talents is where it is at. So let’s hear it.
