Rocky Balboa in the Rocky movies didn’t win every round. In fact some rounds he looked pretty bleak broken and busted. I mean that eye was swollen! He could barely see but he kept on fighting and after that fight he kept fighting and training and training and fighting until he picked himself up with his coach and cheerleader pushing him. A champion doesn’t become a champion by winning every round from the beginning of the fight. They work at it...they lose some rounds they lose some matches...they even consider giving up... until they eventually gain the momentum to fight strong to the finish and finish strong.
Once you become a champion it doesn’t mean you stop training though. You keep training and you keep training and you keep training...Rocky got the eye of the tiger like we as people of God get the eye of the Lord. We can find ourselves in the boxing ring of life. One blow after another makes it hard to see or we get distracted giving the enemy the opportunity to get a real good blow to the head(our mind), making it hard to think clearly or worse below the belt(our womb area) grieving the Holy Spirit- making it harder to stand up because the pain of it is so bad... or our chest(knocking the wind out of us) making it difficult to breathe and gain wind to keep fighting... and then suddenly we begin to have insight- prophetic insight and revelation into not our abilities but our abilities made stronger and better through the Lord Jesus Christ, we regain perspective on who we are in God, and we get the second wind of the Holy Spirit and we get up...we fight... and we win... So wherever you are, whoever you are, whatever you are facing in the ring...Get the eye of the Lion Of Judah, the eye of the Lord. Keep Fighting. Don't Give up and Don't Give in. Remember these words in Romans 8:37, "Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us."
